James Doolan

  • James, a former national champion and European-ranked fighter in MMA, Muay Thai, and kickboxing, owns Higher Level Martial Arts in Bathgate, Scotland. With over 20 years of coaching experience, he has produced world champions and athletes competing in elite organizations like UFC, Bellator, and ONE FC. James started martial arts at age 8, earning black belts in Karate, kickboxing, and Brazilian jiu-jitsu. He holds a sports and exercise science degree and coaching diplomas. With 60 fights across MMA, Muay Thai, and kickboxing, James has vast combat experience.

    James is a former multiple time national champion and European ranked fighter in MMA, Muay Thai and kickboxing with his own Gym Higher level Martial arts based in Bathgate Scotland. Coaching for over 20 years James has produced several respected world champions in both MMA and Muay Thai. Several of his athletes have competed for the UFC, the ultimate fighter, Bellator, Cagewarriors, EFC, One FC and other elite organizations. James has busy seminar schedule.

    James started martial art at age 8 and went on to achieve black belts in Karate, kickboxing and Brazilian juijitsu and has trained extensively in Muay Thai, wrestling and boxing academically he also has a degree in sport and exercise science and diplomas in coaching.

    James went on to train and compete in MMA all over the world winning titles over three different weight classes on some of the biggest MMA shows in the world. With 60 fights combined through MMA, Muay Thai, and kickboxing, James has a lot of combat experience.
