Japanese Kickboxing - Learning the Art of Fighting with Tai Terada

I purchased this for my two sons. I already found several drills useful for their progress. I highly recommend this video.

système du kickboxing japonais et c'est efficace sans les salles de boxe que je fréquente en France. Le style n'est pas connue et cela crée beaucoup d'incertitudes sur l adversaire. Un vrai régale !

Coherent and clear instruction from a legit legend. Who could ask for more.

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
If you are looking to evolve your striking game, look no further! I just finished the Thai Terato: Japanese Kickboxing volume, and it is easily one of the best instructional purchases I’ve ever made.
While Muay Thai and Dutch Kickboxing get a lot of shine in the West, the specific nuances of the Japanese style have remained a bit of a mystery—until now. This video is an absolute eye-opener that bridges that gap with surgical precision.
Why This Is a Game-Changer:
The "Japanese" Calf Kick: The mechanics taught here are a fascinating departure from what you usually see. It’s fast, deceptive, and devastatingly effective.
The "X" Kick: Learning the setup and execution of the X-kick added a completely new dimension to my lead-leg attacks.
Technical Knees: The breakdown of the Japanese knee—and how it integrates into high-paced combinations—is worth the price of the video alone.
Crystal Clear Instruction: The teaching is exceedingly clear, making complex "Muay Thai vs. Kickboxing" transitions easy to digest and implement immediately in sparring.
The Verdict
The Warrior Collective has outdone itself with this one. If you want to add a unique, explosive edge to your striking development, you need this in your library. It’s fresh, it’s technical, and it’s exactly what the modern martial artist needs to stay ahead of the curve.

Jkick is an amazing fighting system - very technical and explosive and fun to watch but very surprisingly there's not a lot of material to learn it in any systematic sort of way on the in English.

This fills the gap nicely and I am looking forward to more volumes. In the future

Amazing training – being able to learn the Japanese style from someone who has mastered it is incredible!

Brilliant instructional on the JKick style by Tai Terada. Great details, drills and insights to the japanese kickboxing system. A lot of content is here so plenty to work on over time and implement. Haven't seen anything like this product available in the western market so this is a must watch for avid kickboxers!

This training course has been helpful as a student and coach. I definitely feel I’ve made improvements incorporating these drills into my routine.

This is the third Barry’s course I purchase. Incredible communication skills, language, systems and concepts on all of them. I believe Barry’s approach is second to none. He is really advancing combat sports and making them evolve. Continuous gems and a very easy to follow programme no matter your level.

So far it’s very detailed and easy to understand. I find it super idolizing that all these amazing fighters focus on the simple details

Damien is not only one of the best fighters of all time, he is also an outstanding martial arts educator! Thank you for these amazing online courses, they are informative, full of ideas and also a great workout.

The education and most importantly the drills provided are priceless. There is no doubt if you stick to the program you will see results. You’re missing out if you don’t invest in any of his tutorials.

Do the work and it’ll speak for itself that all I have to say.
