Muay Thai Fighting - The Art of 8 Limbs with Kevin Ross

Kevin Ross is an American Muay Thai fighter and kickboxer who has also competed in professional boxing, shootboxing, MMA & San Shou. It is his love of Muay Thai fighting (otherwise known as the art of 8 limbs) that he is most known for and is something that has now been the cornerstone of Kevin's life for nearly twenty years.

Having enjoyed a hugely varied and successful competitive career throughout this time, he has recently retired and is now a globally sought after striking coach.

Kevin Ross

Kevin was born in Reading, Pennsylvania on July 27, 1980. He spent much of his youth moving all around the country until finally ending up in Las Vegas in 1995. Alcoholism and partying completely took over his life until one day he finally decided to face all his fears, turn his life around and go after his lifelong dream of becoming a fighter.

He started training Muay Thai January in 2003 at Master Toddy’s. Kevin has trained in Thailand numerous times at camps including Sitkuanim, Sasiprapa (in 2007 when he competed at the king’s birthday celebration), Sitsongpeenong (in 2010 when he took part in the Toyota Cup 8-man tournament where he made it to the semi-finals), Sitmonchai (which he has been to 3 times to date) and also at Sutai in Phuket.

Some of his achievements include becoming the inaugural Bellator kickboxing world champion, Lion Fight super lightweight world champion. WBC Muay Thai super lightweight international champion and welterweight national champion.
